Nowadays a lot of people wear and millions of people want to ware contact lens to correct the vision especially long sighted vision. Those people who want to wear contact lens always worried about the safety of the contact lens.
According to ophthalmologist contact lens are the safest medical devices if it used correctly. Although lens are safe to use, but carelessness will leads to serious problems. Here are some safety tips which can help for contact lens wearers are:
- Consult ophthalmologist (eye doctors) to get the correct contact lens.
- Wash your hand with soap and water before used and removed the contact lens
- After remove the contact lens gently rubs with solution.
- Use fresh solution every time to store contact lens.
- Rinse with fresh solution before put into eyes.
- Don’t wear contact lenses overnight
- Don’t wear contact lenses during swimming and taking shower
- Change the old solution, never used the date expire solution
- Don’t use saline or other disinfected solution to clean contact lens
- Never share the contact lens with another people
- If possible change your contact box every 2 to 3 months.
- Take out the contact lens and consult eye doctors as soon as possible if u fell uncomfortable especially is case of irritation of the eyes or redness of eyes.
Contact lenses are safe to use, but always follow doctor’s advice for safety care.
